with a FREE Carnival in the Howard Elmer Park (right next to the
library)! Join us Thursday June 27th from Noon-4pm for this
incredible event! Come see what it's like to be in the tummy of a tiger
and have a magic gypsy read you a book! Let your imagination guide you
and play some fantastic carnival games! This year's theme is Dig Into
Reading and we have many great programs planned for all ages. |

Exciting News! Sayre Public Library is one of the seventy public libraries in 21 states selected by the American Library Association (ALA) to receive $5,000 grants as part of The American Dream Starts at your library literacy project. This initiative is funded by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. Sayre Public Library joins libraries in large cities and rural towns throughout Dollar Generals market area. We are using the funds to build innovative literacy services for adult English language learners and their families living and working in our community.
 SEASONS Programming
Join the Sayre Public Library for the Valleys first grant project to provide programs at the library for baby boomers and beyond. This program is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
